How long does an anesthesia tattoo session take?
A sedated tattoo session is typically a full day. Most sessions include 8 to 9 hours of tattooing. Because you're comfortable and still, your artist can work without breaks for pain, so you get much more done than in a regular session.
How long is recovery after the session?
You'll spend a few hours recovering in the hospital under medical supervision. Once cleared, you head back to your hotel or Airbnb with your companion or caretaker. Want more support? Upgrade to an anesthesia care package and recover in a recovery hotel with medical attention, a hyperbaric chamber and healthy recovery meals, usually for 1 to 2 days.
How much can I get done in one session?
Large pieces like back pieces, sleeves and chest tattoos can make major progress in one day. Your artist will tell you how many sessions your design needs.
